🚀 Getting Started Guide

Download and Install

Download Revalidator from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Start with just £2 for your first month, then £4.99/month or £45/year. Works on all modern smartphones and tablets.

💡 Tip: Make sure you have iOS 13+ or Android 8+ for the best experience.

Create Your Account

Open the app and sign up with your email address. You'll need to verify your email to activate your account. Your NMC PIN will be securely stored and never shared.

💡 Tip: Use your work email for easier identification if you need support.

Enable Voice Commands

Grant microphone permissions when prompted. This allows you to log CPD hours by simply speaking. Don't worry - we only listen when you tap the microphone button.

💡 Tip: You can also type entries manually if you prefer - voice is optional!

Log Your First CPD Activity

Tap the big "+" button or the microphone icon. Say something like "I completed a 2-hour wound care training session today" or type it in. The app will automatically categorize it and log the hours.

💡 Tip: Be specific about the topic and duration for better tracking.

Review Your Dashboard

Your main screen shows your total CPD hours, recent activities, and progress toward your revalidation goal. The visual charts make it easy to see where you're at a glance.

Export for NMC Submission

When you're ready to revalidate, tap "Export" to generate a PDF or Excel file formatted exactly to NMC requirements. You can email it directly or save it to your device.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data secure?
Yes! All your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We use bank-level security and are fully GDPR compliant. Your information is never shared with third parties, and you can delete your account at any time.
Does this meet NMC requirements?
Absolutely! Revalidator is designed specifically to meet NMC revalidation requirements. Our export format includes all the information the NMC asks for: date, activity type, hours, learning outcomes, and how it relates to the Code.
Can I use this offline?
Yes! Revalidator works completely offline. Log your CPD activities anytime, anywhere. When you reconnect to the internet, everything syncs automatically to the cloud for backup.
What if I change phones?
Your data is backed up in the cloud, so you can simply log in on your new device and all your CPD records will be there. Just use the same email address you registered with.
Is there a subscription fee?
Yes! Revalidator is a subscription-based application with a payment of just £2 for the first month, then £4.99 per month (or £45/year to save 25%). There are recurring charges but no hidden fees. All updates included.
Can I import existing CPD records?
Yes! You can manually enter your existing CPD activities or import from a CSV file. Go to Settings > Import Data to get started.
How accurate is the voice recognition?
Our AI is trained on nursing and healthcare terminology, so it understands medical jargon and abbreviations. It's accurate 95%+ of the time, and you can always edit entries afterward if needed.
What happens to my data if I stop using the app?
You can export all your data at any time in PDF or Excel format. Your account remains active indefinitely, and you can delete it from the app settings whenever you choose. We'll permanently delete all your data within 30 days of deletion.
Can I share my CPD records with my employer?
Yes! You can export your CPD records and share them via email or save them to share however you like. The exported reports are professional and ready to submit.
I'm having technical issues. What should I do?
First, try restarting the app and checking for updates. If that doesn't help, contact us at support@revalidator.uk or call +44 7344 218841. We typically respond within 24 hours on weekdays.

Account Management

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your Revalidator account in three ways:

Note: Account deletion is permanent. All your CPD records and personal data will be removed within 30 days. You can cancel during this period by contacting support.

How do I export my data before deleting?
Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your CPD records:
  1. Open the Revalidator app
  2. Go to your CPD records
  3. Tap "Export" to generate a PDF or Excel file
  4. Save the file to your device or email it to yourself

Your exported reports are formatted for NMC compliance and will remain on your device after account deletion.
